One-Year Workmanship Warranty
Every repair and installation Cogan Plumbing completes includes a one-year workmanship warranty. It is not an upgrade, and it is not buried in fine print. For 12 months after we finish the job, if something fails because of how our crew installed or repaired it, we come back and correct the workmanship. That holds on everything from a water heater swap to a full sewer line replacement.
What the Warranty Covers
The warranty covers the workmanship on the job Cogan completed — how the repair or installation itself was performed. If a joint we made leaks, a connection we set fails, or an installation we finished does not hold because of how the work was done, that is a workmanship problem, and it is ours to fix for a full year from the day the job was completed.
What It Does Not Cover
A workmanship warranty covers our work — it cannot cover everything in a plumbing system, and we would rather say plainly where the line is:
- Manufacturer defects. Fixtures and equipment carry their own manufacturer warranties. If a water heater or faucet fails because of a defect in the product itself, the manufacturer’s warranty is the one that applies — and we explain both warranties before we leave, so you know which is which.
- Parts of the system we did not work on. Older plumbing keeps aging. A failure in a section of pipe, a fixture, or a line Cogan did not repair or install is a new problem, not a workmanship claim on the job we did.
- Damage from misuse or changes made by others. If the work is altered after we finish, or the system is damaged by something outside the job — a freeze, a remodel, another contractor’s work — that sits outside the warranty too.
How to Use It
Call the office that dispatched your job: Saline County and the Traskwood area at (501) 317-0637, or West Little Rock at (501) 710-3838. Tell us when the work was done and what is happening now. We will pull up the job and schedule the return visit.
Included on Every Job
The one-year workmanship warranty is standard on Cogan’s residential and commercial work. It is never sold as an add-on, never offered as an upgrade, and never something you have to remember to ask for. It comes with the job.
Cogan Plumbing is owned by Josh Roberts, Arkansas Master Plumber License MP6055, and is licensed and insured. Cogan was voted Best Plumber in the Arkansas Times Best of Arkansas 2026 and named an AY Magazine Best of 2026 honoree. If you want to see the standard the warranty stands behind, look at our documented jobs — the work is photographed and written up, job by job.
